OTTAKAR'S PLC
We designed and fitted out 140 stores for this major book retail
chain.
The Portsmouth store was a 7,000 sq ft project.
To install the escalator, the space was formed through 900mm of
reinforced concrete in a former bank vault. We removed the roof
to install a glazed atrium before completing a full shop fit-out.
This was a £500,000 contract completed within budget and within
the stipulated 4 week time frame.
In Cheltenham we erected 16 tonnes of structural
steelwork in a retail store fit-out on 3 levels. The £900,000 project
required the installation of two escalators and fire shutters and
was completed within 6 weeks.
The 9,000 sq ft store in the Glades development
in Bromley has retail space on three levels - the lower mall, mezzanine
and upper mall. The £600,000 retail fit-out project was completed
within budget and on time, including the design and construction
of a 3.6m rocket!
OCEAN
Turn Key Projects was appointed to produce a full concept design
and installation for Ocean's northern flagship store in the Triangle
Centre, Manchester city centre. The project involved converting
a mail order facility into a retail store, within the restrictions
of a Grade 2 listed building. The £400,000, 800sq m project was
designed and fitted within 10 weeks.
LAUNCH PAD
Our designers interpreted the brief for this educational book and
activity store, to produce a working, flexible store which can be
altered to suit seasonal merchandising changes. Completed within
12 weeks from initial brief to store opening, to catch the Christmas
trade.
